Last weekend was such a pretty weekend. I helped host a Baby Shower for a friend on Saturday. We can't wait for sweet Coleman to arrive. I'm so happy that Baylor will have such a good friend so close in age. Then on Sunday (Jonathan's Birthday) we headed to Shakespeare to take advantage of the weather before Jonathan's parent's came in town that afternoon for his Birthday dinner. Now it's back to the work week with some cold weather moving in. I'm starting to get spring fever so I hope it warms up soon!

Mama's 2 Boys!

Happy 29th Birthday to my Best Friend and Husband! You are the BEST husband and the most AMAZING father to our sweet Baby Boy. We are both so blessed to have you in our lives. You would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING for the two of us. You already do! You do many things that a lot of husbands don't (clean, go shopping with me, nightly massages, etc...). You never complain. I think we both like to take advantage of the time we have together no matter what we're doing. Oh and you are so wonderful with Baylor. You never complain about doing anything for him. You get up early in the mornings with him sometime to let me get a little extra sleep. You pack his diaper bag for me at night Sometimes without me asking, if you can tell I'm really tired. You are just a REALLY hands-on Daddy and I LOVE it. Thank you for everything you do for us. We love you very much!

We took advantage of the beautiful weather this afternoon and took Baylor out to The Shakespeare Park for the first time! More pictures to come later!

3 Months!

What are you up to Baylor at 3 Mos?!

-You still LOVE your hands. You move them all the time.

-You still like to suck your thumb. It's so cute watching you try to find your thumb to put it in your mouth.

-You still love your Little Lamb swing SO much.

-You almost always sleep 7-8 hours a night. We have to wake you up a lot of mornings at 6:00 to eat.

-Your still eating 4oz during the day and you will take 5 at night. You eat every 3-4 hours. We stopped putting rice cereal in your bottles a few weeks ago and you seem to be doing good.

-We give you diluted apple juice if you haven't pooped in a few days and you seem to like it.

-You hold head up really good, but will still sling it around sometimes. It scares Mama and Daddy.

-You bring your legs up to your chest a lot when your playing. You really like to move those legs!

-We have noticed you really interested in the tv a few times.

-You wear 0-3 month clothes and 3 month. You can still fit in a few newborn Kissy Kissy things too.

-Your still in size 1 diapers and probably will be for a while longer.

-Mommy can't keep her lips off your cheeks so she waits til after she drops you off with Mrs. B (Mimi as they call her) in the mornings to put it on :)

-You love to ride in the car. You fall asleep every time we put you in there.

-Oh and bath time is still your favorite. You get upset when we take you out.

- You sneeze a lot. Mama and Daddy hope you don't have bad allergies like your Daddy.

-You still look like your daddy a lot. Especially in the eyes and forehead. You have been getting alot more Mommy comments lately with your nose, lips, skin, chin, and hair. We think your a good mixture of the both of us!

-You are grabbing things (Mommy's hair, Daddy's shirt, etc...) more and more everyday.

-You often smack your lips after you finish your bottle and take you medicine. It's so cute!

-You are starting to "talk" and coo more and it's so funny!

-Mommy and Daddy think I'm growing up way too fast and I need to slow down!

Mama's Valentine!

Baylor had a busy weekend full of lots of firsts! Friday he was suppose to have a his 1st V-Day party at daycare,but instead he had his first Snow Day with Mommy! It was such a fun day. Daddy got off work at lunch and came home to join us. Baylor liked the snow as long as it wasn't hitting him in the face. That afternoon we headed over to play with Tab, Meribeth, and the boys. They loved the snow too. We made a lot of fun memories that day! Oh and we're suppose to get more tomorrow!

Saturday he had another 1st. He went to his first B-day party. It was for his cousin Emma's 4th Birthday. It was in Birmingham at Chuck E Cheese. He enjoyed getting to see all the lights and sounds in there. Of course, he also enjoyed being held the whole time by all the family. WARNING if your planning on having a party there or going to one-it's a MAD HOUSE in there. Whew! It was fun seeing everyone, but it was so nice to walk out that door and get some fresh air!

Baylor also turned 3mos yesterday!!! More to come on that in my next post!

Then today was Bay's 1st Valentines! He woke up to some goodies from Mama and Daddy!

These are 2 videos we took on Friday playing in the snow! As you can see in the 2nd video, Baylor did not like the snow hitting him in the face so he didn't stay out in it for long. Enjoy!

It's been over a week since I blogged last so I thought I would just do a post with some recent pictures.

We have a busy weekend ahead so I will have lots to blog about. Friday is Baylor's 1st Valentine's Party at daycare all the kids are bring Valentines and Candy. I still haven't decided what he will take. I'm going to look for some ideas tonight. We are also suppose to get snow on Friday. Thats if the forecast stays the same. As of right now they are saying"it's not if we get snow, but how much." Then Saturday morning we are heading up to B'ham for Emma's (our niece) Birthday Party. She turned 4 last week. She is a big girl now! Saturday Baylor turns 3 months old! I can't believe our miracle is growing up so fast. I will do a 3 month update on him in the upcoming days. Then Sunday of course is Valentines (Baylor's 1st)! I'll be sure and update with lots of pictures after the weekend is over!
