Cox Family Annual Destin Beach Trip!

I orignally was going to do one post for our May beach trip to Seagrove and June trip to Destin, but after downloading the pictures I figured it would be too long for one post. So they are going to be in the wrong order... We went to Destin with the Cox Family in June as we always do. This trip was a short Friday- Sunday trip for the 3 of us while the rest of the family stayed through Wednesday. We had just got back from 5 days in Seagrove two weeks prior- it's also an annual trip that we book at the beginning of each new year. This trip ended up being rainy all weekend, but thankfully we got in a little beach time each day. We had a fun short trip and enjoyed just getting out of Montgomery and spending time with family. Here are some pictures from our trip.

3rd Trimester and a Bad Blogger!

I'm now in my 3rd trimester at 28.5 weeks. I had my 28 week appointment yesterday along with my glucose test- which I passed! And my 4D ultrasound. Our sweet Brewer looks so sweet. He is weighing in right at 3lbs which is exactly what Baylor was weighing at his 4D ultrasound. He favors his big brother a good bit, but we can see some differences already. As far as Mama goes I'm doing well other than some early swelling. Thankfully my BP is fine and Dr. Dupre just thinks it's heat related and that I'm sitting a little too much on my job. I've gained 10lbs and I'm pleased with that number. Hopefully the remaining 11 weeks or less will go just as smooth. In other news our sweet boy just turned 2 1/2. I'll do a post on that very soon. We are soaking up every second with him since we know our attention will be divided with him very shortly. I can't think about it to much or I get emotional. :) Another post I'll be doing soon will be about annual May beach trip with my side of the family. We just got back from Seagrove on Monday and we had a great time. The weather and water were PERFCT! We are looking forward to heading back down in a couple weeks with Nana and Papa and the Cox Clan! Now here are some pictures of sweet baby boy #2!

20 Weeks Ultrasound and Appointment!

Jonathan and I went first thing this morning for our 20 week anatomy scan- even though we already knew the gender we couldn't wait to see our sweet boy and see that he was healthy. Praise the Lord- his heart, kidneys, and everything looked normal and healthy. Brewer's heart rate was 131 and he weighed in at 13oz. He was active the entire ultrasound up until the last 2 minutes. Getting measurements and a good look at his face was difficult for our tech, but she finally got what she wanted and we all enjoyed a good Brewer show! Another HUGE praise is that my placenta previa has corrected itself. This means no bed rest for me the rest of my pregnancy, no c- section as of now, and it gives us a much better piece of mind about the pregnancy. I have had a lot of anxiety this time around. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I'm guessing it has to be due to our miscarriage last summer and I'm sure how difficult it is for us to conceive. I'm hoping I can finally start to enjoy this pregnancy. I'm feeling great so no need not to.

As far as I go I've gained 3lbs- total for this pregnancy. Not sure how bc I feel so big,but everyone is telling me I'm carrying a lot higher. I think their right because I feel so out of breath and I never felt like this with Baylor. My blood pressure was 125/75- awesome. For those of who have followed my blog throughout my pregnancy with Baylor may remember I had blood pressure issues with Baylor. So this is another huge praise for us. I return in 4 weeks for what may be last or second to last monthly appointment. Time is flying!

Please continue to keep Baby Brewer and Me in your prayers. We've had so many sweet friends and family praying for us up until now each and every prayer has been felt.

Please also keep me in your prayers I start my new job in the morning. First new job in almost 11 years- scary, but I'm so ready and thankful for this opportunity the Lord has provided me and my family with.

Now for some Brewer pictures...

Baylor!

Thought I would do a little update on our sweet and silly boy!

Here are some of the funny things he's been saying-

"Cathle (castle)" When we pull up to church on Sundays. He's does know it's church, but I guess he think it looks like a castle. And he's right the old santuary does look like a castle.

Speaing of church- He.loves.it.
He talks about it all the time. Some mornings on the way to Gin Gin's he ask to go. It makes his Mommy and Daddy so happy to hear the joy in his voice when talks about church.

"I hold you, Mama" He tells me this when he wants me to hold him. Oh my I don't think he can get any sweeter than when he tells me his- well unless he's saying " I love you the most" after I tell him. Everyone that told me boys are so special and sweet were right. There is just something about a little boy- and to think we're going to be blessed with another one!

"Good Job" He hasn't told me this, but will tell his Dada after he does some things. I guess it's a "guy" thing!

Other than saying some pretty funny things he is going through a very affectionate stage. He's always up for giving kisses and hugs, but lately he offers thing often for no reason. We are so in love with this sweet boy!

That's it for now. I go Tuesday for my big 20 week ultrasound and on Wednesday I start a new job. Lot's of fun, exciting things happening. Hope to be back soon with pictures from the ultrasound!
