20 Weeks Ultrasound and Appointment!

Jonathan and I went first thing this morning for our 20 week anatomy scan- even though we already knew the gender we couldn't wait to see our sweet boy and see that he was healthy. Praise the Lord- his heart, kidneys, and everything looked normal and healthy. Brewer's heart rate was 131 and he weighed in at 13oz. He was active the entire ultrasound up until the last 2 minutes. Getting measurements and a good look at his face was difficult for our tech, but she finally got what she wanted and we all enjoyed a good Brewer show! Another HUGE praise is that my placenta previa has corrected itself. This means no bed rest for me the rest of my pregnancy, no c- section as of now, and it gives us a much better piece of mind about the pregnancy. I have had a lot of anxiety this time around. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I'm guessing it has to be due to our miscarriage last summer and I'm sure how difficult it is for us to conceive. I'm hoping I can finally start to enjoy this pregnancy. I'm feeling great so no need not to.

As far as I go I've gained 3lbs- total for this pregnancy. Not sure how bc I feel so big,but everyone is telling me I'm carrying a lot higher. I think their right because I feel so out of breath and I never felt like this with Baylor. My blood pressure was 125/75- awesome. For those of who have followed my blog throughout my pregnancy with Baylor may remember I had blood pressure issues with Baylor. So this is another huge praise for us. I return in 4 weeks for what may be last or second to last monthly appointment. Time is flying!

Please continue to keep Baby Brewer and Me in your prayers. We've had so many sweet friends and family praying for us up until now each and every prayer has been felt.

Please also keep me in your prayers I start my new job in the morning. First new job in almost 11 years- scary, but I'm so ready and thankful for this opportunity the Lord has provided me and my family with.

Now for some Brewer pictures...

Baylor!

Thought I would do a little update on our sweet and silly boy!

Here are some of the funny things he's been saying-

"Cathle (castle)" When we pull up to church on Sundays. He's does know it's church, but I guess he think it looks like a castle. And he's right the old santuary does look like a castle.

Speaing of church- He.loves.it.
He talks about it all the time. Some mornings on the way to Gin Gin's he ask to go. It makes his Mommy and Daddy so happy to hear the joy in his voice when talks about church.

"I hold you, Mama" He tells me this when he wants me to hold him. Oh my I don't think he can get any sweeter than when he tells me his- well unless he's saying " I love you the most" after I tell him. Everyone that told me boys are so special and sweet were right. There is just something about a little boy- and to think we're going to be blessed with another one!

"Good Job" He hasn't told me this, but will tell his Dada after he does some things. I guess it's a "guy" thing!

Other than saying some pretty funny things he is going through a very affectionate stage. He's always up for giving kisses and hugs, but lately he offers thing often for no reason. We are so in love with this sweet boy!

That's it for now. I go Tuesday for my big 20 week ultrasound and on Wednesday I start a new job. Lot's of fun, exciting things happening. Hope to be back soon with pictures from the ultrasound!

Big Boy Undies!

Baylor has been in these since Monday morning...

And he has done great! He's only had 2 accidents. The first accident was Tuesday when Jonathan went to pick him up from Gin Gin's and he started yelling for "Da Da" because he wet himself. The other time was yesterday afternoon while he was again outside playing at Gin Gin's. He had just gone 20 mins prior. Virginia thinks he just didn't get it all out and he was to occupied to stop and go back in after he started playing.

He still doesn't tell he needs to go most times. We just ask him every 30mins to an hour and he runs in the bathroom and goes. He did do a wonderful job Tuesday evening we heard him open the bathroom door so Jonathan went to check on him and he was standing over his little potty going by himself.

We're so proud of our sweet boy. I've been told boys don't potty train as well and as fas as girls, but he's doing wonderful. He's been using the potty since right before his 2nd Birthday, but we never did full on potty training. He wore pull ups during the day and a diaper at night. When we were home with him on the weekends and at night we would put him in his big boy undies to get him use to them. He loves his Thomas the Train, Mickey Mouse, and Toy Story undies!

Valentine's Day and 15 Week Appointment!

Last Tuesday was Valentine's. Jonathan had already left for work by the time Baylor woke up to get his goodies. Here are some pictures from that morning...

This picture is actually out of order... The gift on the left is a gift from Baylor to Brewer- a lovie like the two Bay has, but Brewer's is a yellow duck. The dog on the right is Brewer's Valentine from Granna. She didn't want to leave him out when she gave the rest of the grandkids something. :)

Baylor opening Brewer's dog.

Bay's goodies Valentine morning!

He has this opening gift thing down.

Ready for Valentine's Day at Gin Gin's!

My focus was off in this picture, but I still love that smile on my handsome man!

Baylor took long bubble wands with a little tag that he colored that said " Valentine You Blow Me Away" Love, Baylor and some little bags of candy. I have a picture on my phone, but didn't take on with my camera.

15 Weeks

Yesterday I had a my 15 week OB Appointment and everything went well. Brewer's heartbeat was in the 140's. It took a little while for the nurse to get a good reading because he was very active and has been on all of our ultrasounds. I didn't gain any weight which I was shocked about because I feel like my tummy is already so big. Thankfully I guess it's just all baby in there and everything else getting pushed out that makes me feel 6 or 7 months pregnant instead of just 4-5. My blood pressure was good- 122/76. Praying this pregnancy it stays that way. At my next appointment I will have my big anatomy scan and we will get another look at my placenta. Praying it has corrected by then. Dr. D said if I still have previa then I have to go on bed rest at 24 weeks- no matter what. If it's just low lying then I don't. Please go ahead and join us in praying that my placenta has moved up.

I'm in the process of trying to come up with some things for the nursery and do Baylor's big boy room so both has me busy when I'm not chasing around a wild 2 year old.

Sweet Baby BOY!!!

That's right Baby Cox #2 is a BOY and we are absolutely thrilled to be adding another boy to our family. I'm only just over 13 weeks so we found out early again just like we did with Big Brother Bay! Thank you to the sweet ladies at my mom's office who took a little "peek" for us. Jonathan and I really had no preference just a healthy baby and so far everything looks good. Heartbeat yesterday was 157 and sounded perfect!

Baby Boy's name is going to be-

Brewer Todd Cox

Brewer and Todd are both family names- Brewer is on Jonathan's maternal grandfather's side and Todd also from Jonathan's maternal side, is Nana's maiden name and Jonathan's middle name. A few weeks ago I kept telling Jonathan we need to come up with some boy names. I guess that was my inkling it was another sweet boy. With Baylor it was NEVER an issue we knew for years if we had a boy he would be named Baylor. All of our family knew and most of our close friends. It was a name we heard years before finally conceiving and we both loved it and it never became trendy... so we knew were going to use it. This time it was between two family names Brewer and Benton. Brewer was Jonathan's favorite and I really liked both. Oh and we did purposely pick a "B" it was just what we liked.

We can't wait to meet our little Brewer! I think Baylor and Brewer are going to be the BEST of friends. Everyone knows how much he adores his cousins will understand. He asked for them every morning on the way to daycare.

Now some pictures! They are very clear, but you can tell what everything is...

Brewer with his left hand on his face and right arm up too! We have a picture of Baylor like this too-so sweet!

BOY!!

This picture was taken last Friday at 12weeks, 5 days. Sweet profile!

And of course the Big Brother looking so big here!

Now it's time do some planning! In only 6 months we'll be a family of 4- with the perfect addition to our growing family!!

Ultrasound Pictures!

These aren't the best pictures of our ultrasound pictures, but I think you can tell what they are.

This was taken last Wednesday at my OB appointment. Sweet profile!

HaHa... Jonathan told Baylor we were having a baby pig when he saw this one. I had to explain all babies look like this so early on.

I can't wait to see what he or she looks like in 2 weeks!
